Company Background
Homegrown Timber (Rail) Ltd provides vegetation management and
Railway Safety Case Management Services and specialising in work on the UK
railway infrastructure now based at Courtlands on the Surrey border with West
Sussex. The sister company Homegrown Timber Ltd (original trading company) was
set up in 1992 to provide a quality specialist timber and woodland contracting
service to landowners, agents, local authorities and civil engineers.
Activities on the Railway Infrastructure substantially increased until it was
decided to form a company specialising in railway work. Consequently Homegrown
Timber (Rail) Ltd was incorporated in March 2001 as a stand-alone and
independent sister company.

The company's new 30-acre facilities at Courtlands are 5 minutes
from Junction 10 of the M23 near Shipley Bridge and 10 minutes from the M25.

Services include; vegetation management, vegetation maintenance, emergency
call-out, eradication of noxious weeds, (Japanese Knotweed eradication is a
speciality), fencing repair and construction, litter removal, graffiti removal,
structure clearance, Railway Safety Case management and provision of safety
protection personnel.

management teams are well versed in all aspects of multiple location management,
from budgeting to productivity to establishing and maintaining business
