ABCO Payroll Services is a payroll processing service bureau offering payroll service exclusively to Florida businesses. We do, however, extend our services to Florida based clients who have operations outside of Florida. Our Florida only status allows us to maintain our acute grasp of Florida payroll regulations. We find that most small to medium sized business owners have enough to do managing their daily operations. Dealing with the ever-changing governmental regulations that go along with payroll is a headache you just don't need. We stay focused on payroll administration issues for you, freeing you up for other responsibilities. Payroll Processing At ABCO Payroll Services accuracy is the name of the game. The surest way to upset both you and your employees is to make a mistake on an employee's paycheck. Accuracy also prevents penalties due to inaccurate or untimely tax payments. Maintaining our high level of accuracy and guaranteeing your tax payments allows you to put your mind at ease, because there will be no need to worry about disgruntled employees or costly penalties due to payroll errors. In the interest of saving you time we keep your responsibilities to a minimum and provide you with reports that make your bookkeeping entries a breeze. A simple fax or telephone call is all it takes to report your hours. We process and deliver your payroll, via your chosen delivery method. Your checks (or direct deposit vouchers) come ready for your signature or with your facsimile signature upon request. We file and pay all of your payroll-related taxes according to current requirements (i.e. electronic funds payments and magnetic media filing) and provide you with reports that break down and summarize everything we've done. Workers' Compensation ABCO Payroll Services does not sell workers compensation - we process payroll. However, with the extensive knowledge of workers compensation that we possess, we are able to offer a workers' compensation consulting service that will help to insure that you pay the lowest premium. By this we mean that we work with your insurance agent and workers compensation carrier to provide the services that both need - and in a form that is acceptable to each of them. Here is a list of the workers compensation accounting services that we can provide. You just tell us what if any of these services you wish to take advantage of: We can provide a monthly report listing all payroll, broken down by classification with overtime separated so you can fill out your monthly self audit and write a check to your carrier, OR We can collect your workers compensation premiums each pay period, and submit a report and payment to your carrier each month. Paying your premiums this way is much easier in budgeting your cash flow. We can provide an annual report for your policy period listing all payroll, broken down by classification, with overtime separated, so you can handle your own workers comp audit, OR we can handle it here in our office for you. We can also assist/complete Form DWC-1a Wage Statement for any lost time injuries that your carrier would request you to complete. General Liability Audits We can provide an annual report listing only the payroll information for your policy period. You will need to provide any other financial information that the auditors request. 401K & Other Tax Deferred Plans ABCO Payroll Services can give you the necessary reports for any pre-tax or after-tax deductible benefit plans for your employees. We can make the payroll deductions for these plans, OR we can report and remit the payments (some plans require electronic payment) - what ever you want us to do for you. Health Insurance If you choose to offer health insurance to your employees, ABCO Payroll Services will make your payroll deductions. We can provide you with a report listing the deductions made, which will make it easier for you to handle your health insurance payments. New Hire Reporting Federal Regulations and the State of Florida require all employers to report information about their new hires within 20 days of the date of hire. These regulations were passed to help enforce child support rulings, to find and prevent fraudulent workers' compensation and unemployment claims. Penalties for non-compliance can be very costly. New hire reports are part of our normal payroll service. Of course, the timeliness and accuracy of these reports depends on you supplying us with the required information. Unlike other payroll services there is NO extra charge for new hire reporting. Direct Deposit You may also want to give your employees the option of having their paychecks directly deposited into their existing bank or credit union account. We have been doing this for years and would be happy to do it for you and your employees. However, electronic funds transfer does come with some special restrictions, which are beyond our control.
