Optics has been approved by the State of California as a Private
Postsecondary Vocational School for the past 13 years.

1). The Communications Technician 100 program
is offered to give you a comprehensive education as well as the
Certifications necessary to obtain gainful employment in several
occupations. You will learn fiber
optics, twisted pair copper cabling, cable television and satellite installation. Upon successful completion of coursework
and exams, our graduates will receive RWM Fiber Optics Certificate of
Completion, Society of Cable Telecommunications
Engineers (SCTE) Certification, Satellite Certification, Pole Climbing
and Ladder Safety Certification, and the Association of Communications &
Electronics Schools Int'l (ACES) Certification.
2).
Fiber Optic Broadband Technician program provides Certifications
from the Association of
Communications & Electronics Schools Int'l (ACES) as a Professional Fiber Optics Installer and Professional Data Cabling Installer after passing
the ACES tests. RWM is a testing center for ACES.
3).
Broadband Cable Television and Satelite Technician program provides the RWM
Fiber Optics Certificate of Completion. Graduates will also receive Certifications from the Society
of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) as a Broadband Premises Specialist (BPS) after passing the SCTE test.
RWM is a testing center for the SCTE.
